The Bleachanime introduced fans to Ichigo Kurosaki, the punk teenager who became a Soul Reaper overnight. Over many episodes, fans grew to love and admire Ichigo as a tough tsundere who loves his friends, all while trying to overcome his grief. Ichigo has become one of the best anime MCs and is still better than his spiritual successors, Tanjiro Kamado and Yuji Itadori. But other anime MCs still have him beat.
